Helping Russian School in Korea

About ‘Noah Russian School (Ansan, S.Korea)’ for Russian-Korean Students- Founded by

Hyunsook Im (Korean, Studied Russian Lit in Russia, adopted two kids) in 2015

- School for Russian kids and Russian-Korean kids (from Russia, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan)

in S. Korea- 3rd, 4th generation descendants of Koreans who fled to Russia during Japanese

occupation of Korea  (1910~1945)

- Their parents come to S. Korea to work at factories and their kids can’t adjust to Korean schools

- Kids don’t go to Korean public school because of language, culture, accreditation differences

- 7 teachers, 13 students

- Learning subjects in Russian, but also learn English (EFL) from 1st grade

- According to Im, due to Russia’s frequent law changes and social instability,

  earning a diploma through Russian government or Russian Embassy in Korea is not feasible now

- Students have no way of getting certificates for academic achievements or diplomas

 

How can we help out? 

We can offer online English tutor service to these students, helping them to improve their English skills and prepare for TOEFL while Lifegate provides an opportunity for them to receive an American high school diploma.


You can give HOPE to students abroad by volunteering just    30 MIN/WEEK of your time! 

 

We need more volunteers to help out children in need of a 

good Chrsistian education !!

Helping "Global Village School" Students in Korea

About ‘Global Village School (Seoul, S.Korea)’ for multicultural students

 

- Founded in 2011 by Rev. Haesung Kim

  (called “Father of Immigrants” in Korea; father of three multi-ethnic kids whose mother from Ghana died of a cerebral hemorrhage and father committed suicide; famous and respected in Korea)

 

       > Most students are from low-income families, immigrants, seminary students’ kids 

          who need global Christian education

 

       > Goal is to build future missionaries, Christian leaders who experience God’s grace

 

-  have government accreditation for elementary, middle school

 

- need to make high school now but gov’t accreditation for high school is not easy.

 

 

How can we help out? 

We can offer online English tutor service to these students, helping them to improve their English skills and prepare for TOEFL while Lifegate provides an opportunity for them to receive an American high school diploma.
